This stone is really the shining star and the inspiration for the entire setting of this beautiful pendant. You can see the redish-purple bubbles peeking out from the corner of the stone spilling out into the setting with a thick silver perimeter struggling to hold it all in. I felt it was important to let the light shine through the stone, as the translucency is one of the most spectacular parts of the entire piece.
This moss agate stone was found at Noema Gems in Northern Ohio on my honeymoon during the first week of September. It is both steeped in love and intention, as well as gratitude for this monumental collection being released as I took the leap to become a metalsmith full-time. Thank you for checking it out.
