The rich color and depth of the stone really drew me to this one, and it might be my favorite stone out of the entire Honeymoon Collection! I love the deep red and purple tones that this stone encapsulates and I found the shadow box to be the ideal home for such a special specimen. Playing with the light and darkness in the stone, I have cut away some of the back plate to allow the light to move under the stone and show off some of the translucencies that make moss agate so special.
This moss agate stone was found at Noema Gems in Northern Ohio on my honeymoon during the first week of September. It is both steeped in love and intention, as well as gratitude for this monumental collection being released as I took the leap to become a metalsmith full-time. Thank you for checking it out.
