Helpful Tips
anyone can be an artist
When you take a class with Sarah Sonder Studios, the goal is for you to make something that is unique to your style and abilities. Even though we provide examples, the purpose of our teachings is to help you learn techniques that you can use to express your own individual artistry.
safety first
We take every precaution when teaching metalsmithing, but there is some degree of risk associated. We will be using a hammer, files, wire cutters, torches, drills, and more tools that can be dangerous if not used properly. Safety information will be taught at each class. Signed liability waiver is required to take a class in our studio.
come prepared to learn
We will cover a lot of information in our classes. Feel free to bring a pencil and pad to take notes on. Recording of the classes is not permitted.

Here is a copy of our studio rules and our liability waiver form. A copy of each of these will be emailed upon purchase of a class with Sarah Sonder Design and Studio.
